READ TO THE BOTTOM PLEASE Dual 1019 Turntable RARE w/ Original Dust Cover- Works, Plays, But Needs A Tweak. Beautiful turntable, but here's what needs a tweak. When you push the lever to start, everything goes smooth, but when you push it to start again to end your play, the tone arm comes back to the perch, but the motor doesn't shut off. BUT - when you push the lever to manual, you can bring the tone arm back manually and then the motor will shut off as soon as the tone arm is back in place. Maybe it's me doing something wrong, or it's not designed to do what I'm expecting it to do(?), I don't know. After all that, YES, you can play albums on it. It does play, but the only thing to mention is that the stylus looks a little off center, but I'm not bending it back into position, you can. Or replace it. There's a Shure cartridge on it now, it's a V15 Type II (2).Cosmetically beautiful. Original dust cover is a plus, but one rear corner of it is cracked. Pretty much un noticeable because of where it is, but it's pictured for you to judge. And also, the center spindle is possibly the wrong one(?). It works, but you have to press in the tabs on the spindle for the record to drop down onto the platter. I'll see you when you get here!If you have a few minutes I'll hook it up to demonstrate.
