You will be responsible to assist farmers with growing Apples and all general farming operations.
Experience working on a farm preferred but not required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Cultivate soil, pruning/trimming fruit trees, weed control, mowing, or chemical spraying Take part in harvesting operations which may involve the use of tractors, forklifts and hand tools Maintain and repair farm buildings, machinery, and other equipment.
Work Conditions:
Farm work can be physically demanding.
You would spend much of your time working outdoors.
During harvesting time you might be required to work long and irregular hours QUALIFICATIONS Able to undertake manual, and sometimes heavy work Able to communicate well Able to work for long hours, outdoors, in all kinds of weather conditions Mechanical aptitude Tractor driving / spraying experience is a plus!
